How many appointments are required?

After your Free Initial Consultation, there are as few as Six Appointments in the Teeth Forever® Process.

Do I need to visit different dental practices?

All your Teeth Forever® appointments are in the same dental practice. View our available locations.

How often do patients need bone-grafting to support the dental implants?

The Teeth Forever® process virtually eliminates the need for bone-grafting in most patients, however, it may be required for patients with extreme bone-loss in their jaws.

How many dental implants will support my full arch bridge?

We have demonstrated a 100% success rate using 4- 6 implants for upper bridges and 4-6 implants for lower bridges. While this protocol is proven optimal for our full-arch Prettau® Zirconia bridges, your Teeth Forever® Advanced Implant Dentist will determine the precise number of implants your specific case requires.

How long will I be without teeth?

Never. With Teeth Forever® your extractions are performed and implants are placed on the first day. The same day, your customised, lab-produced temporary bridge is attached to your implants, and you leave with a beautiful smile.

Will I have a temporary bridge prior to my final bridge?

Yes. The bridge you receive the day after your implants are placed is called a Prototype.

How soon until I get my final bridge?

You’ll wear your Teeth Forever® provisional bridge for 3 to 6 months while your implants stabilise and you become perfectly accustomed to a full arch of teeth and gums.

What materials are used in making my bridge?

Your Teeth Forever® final bridge is custom milled from a solid piece of Prettau® Zirconia in our dedicated Teeth Forever Lab. It is bespoke, customised bridge, hand-crafted to your unique smile specifications. Natural looking colour shades are permanently absorbed into the bridge prior to furnace curing and final polishing.

How long is my bridge going to last?

Your Teeth Forever® Prettau® Zirconia bridge is designed to last a lifetime. A study of 2,039 Prettau® Zirconia bridges produced by the lab show that only 9 have had to be returned in the past 5 years.

Will my bridge ever become discoloured or attract and retain odours?

Prettau® Zirconia is non-porous, so it doesn’t stain, discolour, or retain odours. You care for this bridge just like natural teeth. Other bridge materials such as acrylics with porcelain denture teeth attract both stains and odours.

Will my bridge attract plaque and harmful bacteria?

Just as Prettau® Zirconia is resistant to stains and odours, its non-porous nature doesn’t attract plaque (and the harmful bacteria that breeds in plaque build-ups).

What is the chance that my bridge will chip, crack or break and need to be replaced?

The results of the 5-year study of 2,039 Prettau® Zirconia full-arch bridges produced by Tischler Dental Laboratory show the chances of chipping, cracking, or breaking are 0.44%. In other words, a 99.56% success rate.

Will my bridge weaken or wear down from chewing and talking?

Your Teeth Forever® Prettau® Zirconia final bridge is not only extremely resistant to chipping, cracking and breaking – Its industry-leading durability shows no weakening or wear from chewing and talking, even in patients who grind their teeth.

What’s the chance that I will develop an infection under my bridge?

Infections are caused by bacteria. Infections under an implant-supported full arch bridge are called Peri-implant Pathology and cause bone loss in the jaw that loosens the implants. The fact that Prettau® Zirconia does not attract plaque and harmful bacteria means there is minimal risk of developing an infection caused by the bridge. BUT maintenance is required with minimum yearly visits. Just as with natural teeth.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GETTING DENTURES AND GETTING TEETH FOREVER® DENTAL IMPLANTS?

Dentures are basically replacement teeth that are usually made from two (or more) materials. One type covers your gums and a different material forms the individual teeth. The teeth are glued into the denture gums, and then the denture is placed over your actual gums. You use adhesive to keep the dentures from slipping when you talk or eat. The materials that dentures are made from are porous, so they attract plaque, food particles, and the bacteria and odour that comes with them. You also take dentures out of your mouth whenever you clean and disinfect them. Plus, you need to re-apply the adhesive when you put your denture back in your mouth.

A Teeth Forever® Dental Implant Bridge is precision-sculpted from a single piece of Prettau® Zirconia, and hand finished and polished so they look like healthy teeth and gums. Your dental bridge is held permanently in place by dental implants. You clean it just as you would brush natural teeth (except there’s no need to floss) and you don’t have to use adhesives or ever take it out of your mouth. Prettau® Zirconia is made in one piece, so it resists the chipping and cracking that comes from joining two different materials together (like in a denture).

IS TEETH FOREVER® EXPENSIVE?

Teeth Forever® is a permanent solution.  It is more expensive than getting removable dentures, but is most often less than the cost of trying to save your failing teeth over the long term. Every patient’s case is unique, so the price can vary.  The best way to find out the cost for your treatment is to contact your local Teeth Forever® Member Practice to discuss your treatment options and available financing.

What Do I Have to Do to Care For My Teeth Forever® Dental Implant Bridge?

Your Teeth Forever® bridge is designed to be a permanent part of a healthy mouth.  Since you don’t take it out, you brush it just like you would clean normal teeth.  You see your dental hygienist on a regular schedule, but your Prettau® Zirconia bridge does not attract plaque or food particles, so there’s no need to floss.

Do I Have To Take Out My Teeth Forever® Dental Implant Bridge at Night?

Your Teeth Forever® bridge is fastened to its dental implants using precision-manufactured screws that are hidden within the dental arch. You never remove it.  Your dentist can access these screws to make adjustments, check the stability of your implants, and ensure the continuing health of your mouth.

Can I Travel During My Teeth Forever® Treatment?

The healing process that occurs as part of your Teeth Forever® Treatment requires special attention.  During this time, your implants are becoming a part of your mouth through a process called ‘osseointegration’ or the direct structural and functional connection between your jaw and each implant.  So, while you can travel, it’s important to let us know when you’ll be away, follow all of your doctor’s instructions, and schedule a follow-up visit for when you return.

Will I Be Sedated During My Teeth Forever® Treatment?

Sedation may be recommended for certain procedures during your Teeth Forever® Treatment, and is not required for others.  Your specific treatment will be determined by your unique needs and requirements and the recommendation of your Teeth Forever® Advanced Implant Dentist.
